L\u2019histoire prend ses racines au c\u0153ur des Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es Atlantiques quand St\u00e9phanie P\u00e9tuya rencontre en 2005 G\u00e9raldine Duboys. G\u00e9raldine est artisane<\/strong> et cr\u00e9e des couettes<\/strong>, des oreillers<\/strong>, des matelas<\/strong> en pure laine<\/strong> et en lin naturel fran\u00e7ais<\/strong>. Pour St\u00e9phanie, d\u2019origine normande<\/strong>, le lin est une grande histoire d\u2019amour, ayant jou\u00e9 r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec cette plante \u00e9tant enfant. Les deux femmes, aux valeurs communes, se lient vite d\u2019amiti\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019artisane, St\u00e9phanie d\u00e9couvre les bienfaits de la laine<\/strong>. <\/span>Convaincue, elle <\/span>\u00e9conomise pendant deux ans<\/span> pour commander sa couette tant r\u00eav\u00e9e. La relation passionnelle avec la laine continue \u00e0 la naissance de <\/span>son premier enfant : pour son bien-\u00eatre, elle d\u00e9cide d\u2019acheter des v\u00eatements en laine qui permettent \u00e0 son b\u00e9b\u00e9<\/strong> de garder son \u00e9nergie<\/strong> et d\u2019\u00eatre toujours \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature id\u00e9ale\u2026<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Une histoire de famille<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

St\u00e9phanie veut que son fils puisse dormir sur un matelas en lin naturel fran\u00e7ais, pure laine vierge et cousu main. Malheureusement quand elle contacte l\u2019artisane pour la commande, celle-ci lui fait part de sa d\u00e9cision d\u2019arr\u00eater la cr\u00e9ation de matelas<\/strong>. St\u00e9phanie lui propose alors de l\u2019aider et d\u2019en confectionner deux (un deuxi\u00e8me gar\u00e7on \u00e9tait n\u00e9 !).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

L\u2019artisane remarque vite que St\u00e9phanie est \u00e0 l\u2019aise avec les mati\u00e8res et avec la couture du matelas. Effectivement, avec une maman couturi\u00e8re professionnelle, elle a baign\u00e9 dans le milieu du textile<\/strong> d\u00e8s son enfance.\u00a0 H\u00e9las au cours de leurs discussions, l\u2019artisane lui annonce sa volont\u00e9 d\u2019arr\u00eater compl\u00e8tement son activit\u00e9 pour se lancer dans un nouveau projet.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Durant son cong\u00e9 maternit\u00e9 et en pr\u00e9vision de son d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement en Alsace<\/strong>, St\u00e9phanie sait qu\u2019elle ne souhaite plus retourner travailler comme salari\u00e9e ; elle ressent d\u00e9sormais le besoin de cr\u00e9er et l\u2019envie d\u2019\u00eatre ind\u00e9pendante. Elle sent ses cellules vibrer pendant la confection et son c\u0153ur s’illumine en pensant \u00e0 ce r\u00eave dans l\u2019artisanat d\u2019art<\/strong>. Un matin d\u2019hiver, elle ose enfin demander \u00e0 l\u2019artisane de la former pour perp\u00e9tuer ce savoir-faire h\u00e9rit\u00e9 des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes<\/strong>. L\u2019artisane accepte avec plaisir et de janvier \u00e0 juin 2013, lui transmet pas \u00e0 pas sa riche exp\u00e9rience de s\u00e9lection des mati\u00e8res, lui montre un \u00e0 un ses gestes pr\u00e9cis<\/strong> et lui d\u00e9voile l\u2019un apr\u00e8s l\u2019autre ses secrets de confection<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

A son arriv\u00e9e en Alsace, St\u00e9phanie recherche le mat\u00e9riel n\u00e9cessaire : une cardeuse<\/strong> pour a\u00e9rer et floconner la laine<\/strong> et une machine \u00e0 coudre<\/strong> professionnelle. L\u2019activit\u00e9 d\u00e9marre \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 dans sa chambre et dans sa cave. En 2015, avec son conjoint, ils trouvent un petit nid douillet pour leur famille o\u00f9 le double garage devient l\u2019atelier. St\u00e9phanie est amoureuse de ses machines m\u00e9caniques et sera fi\u00e8re de vous raconter l\u2019histoire de chacune. Datant des ann\u00e9es 50 et 70, ces grandes dames authentiques perp\u00e9tuent la tradition<\/strong> au son des clics m\u00e9talliques.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le lin qui vit, glisse et se d\u00e9tend au rythme de son environnement est un textile qui demande de la ma\u00eetrise. Quant \u00e0 la laine, elle doit \u00eatre apprivois\u00e9e : dans un sens, elle risque de se d\u00e9chirer tandis que dans l\u2019autre, elle est plus \u00e9lastique.<\/span><\/p>
